Right now all my sites are down...I'm using a Spry cPanel 200 VPS.

When I try to restart httpd, I get:

Attempting to restart httpd
Waiting for httpd to restart.... . . . . . . . . . . finished.

httpd status

root 8053 1.8 0.1 16868 15652 ? S 00:39 0:00 /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/bin/whostmgr ./reshttpd


httpd has failed, please contact the sysadmin.

what can I do?

Hi Cytheria.. Unfortunately there's not enough information given in the cPanel interface...

From the Technical Wiki:
"...If possible use your control panel. Otherwise you will have to do it manually: open a ssh connection to your server as root and run the following command: /etc/init.d/httpd restart. This will stop and start apache and eventually give you an useful error message if it fails."

Could you try this out and let us know what the error message is?
