Hi sutki. Generally speaking, it's better to keep the same domain name as to not confuse customers and to keep page rankings in Google. You can add more domains if you want, but I suggest not getting rid of the old one.

1. .com is the best domain extension if you are a brand or a business house. if you are running an organization then .org is good for you.

2. Trying to localize your domain extension, choose .co.in or .pk or any other that represent your local country.

3. If you are an institution, .edu extension is good for you.
