Thought I would give here a link to a good service to move websites directly from one server to another via FTP. It's directransfer[dot]net For webmasters like myself this is a very handy service especially when one or both of the servers do not support SSH.

I personally use a small script (php) which packs all the site files into 1 (or a few with a max fixed size) large files and then can transfer over http.

just need 2 php files on on each location...from and to...

soon i will make it more user friendly and then upload it somewhere...i'll let you know here.
