Default vz32-002 is being rebooted now.

High load preceded unresponsiveness. Administrators are aware of the problem and restarting the hardware node now.

Default File system check in progress.

This node has been rebooted, and file systems are being checked now.

The server is experiencing issues while conducting the filesystem check, which is still being executed. As a precautionary measure, we are preparing a new server in case we need to migrate all accounts off of the server. However, we are attempting to bring the current server online before exercising this option.

    Default Brief Update

We are still working to bring the original server back online, but there are severe problems with the disks, which have caused the filesystem check to hang and drag on much longer than anticipated. Our administrators continue their attempt to bring this server online as the quickest path to getting your VPS accounts accessible again.

At the same time, we are continuing to restore data from our backup system to a new server and will bring that server online when the data is restored. Unfortunately, this is a very time consuming process, with over 200GB of data to be retrieved from backups and restored. The restore process has been running for 5.5 hours now and is a little less than halfway complete.

We will be providing credit to customers impacted by this outage in accordance with our uptime guarantee.

The node has finally finished the fsck. Barring any additional problems the hosted VPS's should be starting up shortly. Thank you again for your patience while we worked on this.

Hosted VPS's are starting now. Due to the disk check, quotas must be recalculated prior to starting each VPS, which is making the bootup of each VPS take a few minutes longer.

We are still restoring backups to a new hardware node. Once this restore is complete, we will be copying the files from the original system to this new node to ensure the latest copy of files are on your VPS. If you notice any inconsistencies in your VPS once it is back online, please do NOT hesitate to inform us, as these files will be copied to the new hardware node. We do not want to copy incorrect files to this new node.

If you do notice any files you do not wish to have copied to the new hardware node, please create a support request and provide us with the full path(s) of said files.

As was mentioned last night, we will be migrating accounts from vz32-002 to a new hardware node, vz32-014. This is being done to ensure that any problems with the hardware itself do not continue to cause problems. However there will be a few minutes of down time for accounts as the networking to their server switches over to the new node.
