Exclamation Failed Ethernet Switch: DNS cache, ticketing system affected

Our system administrators are investigating an issue affecting our DNS cache servers.

This issue will affect the accessibility of the my.spry.com interface, as well as the Spry Support Center's ticketing system. VPS customers using the Spry DNS cache servers may encounter a "Host Not Found" error when attempting to resolve domain names as a result of this issue.

This thread will be updated as more information becomes available.

Update: We have determined that an Ethernet switch has failed - we expect to have all services back online with the replacement of the switch.

The Ethernet switch has come back up.

Our DNS cache servers are responding at this time and our ticketing system is back online - we are still awaiting the installation of the new switch (the installation will occur as soon as any further indication of failure appears with the existing switch, or tonight - whichever comes first).

Update: Our system administrators have elected to defer the replacement of the existing switch to tomorrow, to ensure that we are able to provide an adequate maintenance notification timeframe to all Spry customers.
