Spry system admins are still working on it. The system would not boot due to some filesystem corruption. We are working on recovering the filesystem and will provide an update shortly.

    Hello,

The server is still down as we try to recover the data from a failed disk. Progress of this step is slow and will require several hours.

    Please check back for updates.

The recovery effort continues from the failed storage system. It's a volume of data about 250 gig and this takes a while to move around and inspect for problems.

Unfortunately it will still be several more hours before we will be finished with recovery.

Some good news... the data is all recovered.

We must run a fsck to be certain the filesystem is in good shape and it's quite large so this will still take while but we're operating on reliable storage at this point.

More good news, fsck is finished and everything is looking good.

Last step is to re-calculate quotas for all accounts which will take 15-20 minutes then we will attempt to start up chico.spry.com again.

Chico is back online now. Email delivery will be slow for a while because there are many messages queued up to be delivered to it.
