    Default Tutorials?

I just signed up for a VPS package and haven't even logged in yet. Already I'm wondering if Spry's service will live up to the hype. (I sure hope so, it looks awesome!)

Oddly though, the HTML email order confirmation I received had some minor mistakes in it. Strange that the email says 'Please note that this is not your account information. An email with your username, password, and IP address will be emailed to you later' and yet a username and password are provided directly below that. Of course, the username field is wrapped with 'phone', yielding the word 'PhUsernameone'.

And all the links on the right side of the email are purportedly to tutorials on Spry's website. But the links actually have an extra line break in the html, rendering oddly in my email client.

    http://www.spry.com/support/%20%3Cbr...y_tutorial/45/

But even if the html in the welcome email was correct, the tutorials themselves appear to have been removed from their server.

(Try clicking any of the tutorial links from here: http://www.spry.com/support/tutorials/ )

    A rather inauspicious start.

    Hello,

Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We are currently in the process of updating the order email as well as the links on the web page.

The correct link to view the tutorials is http://www.spry.com/support/answer-c...ash-tutorials/

    Regards,
    Dustin

    Default Tutorials URL's

I have updated the website so that the proper flash tutorials can be viewed from either URL string. Our welcome emails should now be sending out the updated links, but for all those who received welcome e-mails with the /support/tutorials/ links, those should now work, too.

I apologize for any inconvenience these errors caused, and appreciate the feedback, Stephan!

    Thanks,
    Todd

    Default What tutorials?!!

I too have signed up for VPS hosting. I am new to VPS but want to learn as it is a logical step to running my own box. I cannot access the tutorials for cpanel or whm either, every links defaults to spry's main page.

    Hello Brad,

I've forwarded your support request about this to our web developers. In the meantime, you can access the tutorials by taking the link to the tutorial shown on http://www.spry.com/support/docs/ind...lash_Tutorials, i.e. "http://www.spry.com/index.php?title=Creating_a_Default_%28Catchall%29_ Email_Address_in_cPanel" for "Creating a Default Catchall Email Address in cPanel" and changing the hostname from "www.spry.com" to "wiki.spry.com". i.e. http://wiki.spry.com/index.php?title...ress_in_cPanel
