Question Helping tuning dcachesize on Plesk VPS

I have a VPS200 where all my resources have been in normal range except for the dcachesize . It is continuously running in the borderline area. The CPU was running red yesterday but I backed off the frequency of my scheduled tasks and I think that cleared it up.

I saw one thread about dcachesize in the forums but it made no sense to me (I am fairly new to linux and VPS's).

The application is mainly Moodle (Moodle.org) which is a Learning Management System that is PHP/MySQL based. I have several instances running but not a lot of users on any of the instances.

Any suggestions on what I can tweak to reduce the size would be appreciated.

Thanks.

My best recommendation would be to investigate your MySQL my.cnf table_cache settings, as recommended by Ted@Spry in the linked thread.

Default Helping dcachesize

I suggest that the application used by Moodle.org is not Ok for that and I prefer to use Learning Content Management System of Elearningzoom.com

Try this one and as I am not technical person so suggesting Learning Management System for you that is having advanced features.
