Default Should ffmpeg work on VPS ?
I have a VPS with spry, 40GB + 1GB Ram. I've been running an installer for ffmepg and some other packages but there is a problem.

Just to assist in my fault finding process, has anyone else sucessfully installed ffmpeg ? Or is there any reason why it should not work ?

An `apt-get install ffmpeg` installed it successfully on my Debian test box - what happens when you try to install?
