Default Temporarily enable root ssh login

I'm pretty new to server administration. I just bought a VPS hosting account here to try to learn. I haven't got very far. I've had a slicehost account in the past and I was able to admin an ubuntu "slice" relatively easily. When I set up my account on Spry, I chose Ubuntu since this is was I'm used to. What I'm having trouble with is this... I want to add my username that I signed up with (nozavroni) to the sudoers but I can't do that with the nozavroni user and I can't login as root via ssh so I'm having a lot of trouble. I can't change the ssh settings as the nozavroni user either. I have been searching and searching for a thread that can help me or knowledgebase article. Came up with nothing. It's probably ridiculously easy, I'm just new

If you need a root password reset, you should be able to access that from the control panel. If not, contact the support number at 888-808-7779.

That's not the problem. The problem is that root ssh login is disabled in the ssh settings by default. It said that right in the email I was sent after signing up. So how am I supposed to log in and change the ssh settings if I can't log in as root and I can't add my other user to sudoers?

Sorry I wasn't clear, the solution is the same either way, you'll need to contact support either by submitting a support ticket in your Spry control panel or by calling the support number. If you don't have root or sudo access and you're supposed to, there's nothing we can do on the forums to help out. The set-up process should have given you a user account that was already in sudoers.

Oh! OK, thank you very much! See, I'm such a n00b I immediately assumed I was just too green to understand what the problem was. Thx again!
